Edited to add: So I figured out something was quite funky as the page would either not show up, or crash IE. I tried lots of things, but ended up taking out the blogger metadata tag, and now it shows up in IE, although some of the functionality is missing, but it's hardly noticeable.

Oh, and the layout is also screwed up in MSIE. But I guess that's better than it not being viewable at all. And at least it has *fewer* errors when I remove the blogger metadata tag, although it still has some (not mine, per se, but errors caused by blogger's code in conjunction with my html transitional document. OK, not everyone knows how to make a xhtml strict document, and it's only a blog, and I try my hardest to get my serious pages to validate, so screw it.
BTW, I have no problems with it in Safari, Firefox or Camino...it's just MSIE (I use 5.x...I don't know what it's like in other versions)
MSIE is so f*cked I can't believe I checked my site meter and 46% of the visitors I get use it.
When I launch MSIE, there is something causing the msn.com site (which it is automatically set to) to spin my beachball (Mac term) so I have to stop it from loading before I even use it.
And the "bonafide" blogger templates look even more like crap in it than my own.
