That seems like a familiar quote, but from where?
It reminds me of a lyric from the Alan Parsons Project song "Don't Hold Back"
Some are born to lose their heads
and some are born to use them
and some will never know their ends
and some are born to choose them....

Venice? CA? The Doors! Jim Morrison! (but originally taken from William Blake)

I went most my life not knowing that it was originally from William Blake until I saw "Dead Man," a most beautiful movie with Johnny Depp in the old west with a character named William Blake.

You know what else is weird...I woke up that morning with those lyrics in my head, not even remembering (consciously, anyway) that it was the anniversary of Jim's death. spooky.
