12:20:2002 Entry: "Ann : Weird Mail"

Weird Mail

Bill emailed me this interesting documentation of US Postal Experiments. Had me laughing outloud. Reminds me of the summer of '83 when Stan was working in his hometown and we would mail eachother profusely, sometimes sending strange contents (like little cut up pieces of index cards colored plaid). We were also both painting on plexiglass at the time, and Stan emailed me a painted plexiglass postcard, complete with official postage adhered (I think the correct term would be "decoupaged") onto it. I amazingly received it.

I remember a few years ago, my sister and I went to Alaska, and they were selling wooden postcards (they were made out of basal wood, I beleive) , and my sister sent one to her family, and I'm surprised they got it.
