12:20:2003 Entry: "Ann : DREAM: Refugee Cats"

DREAM: Refugee Cats

I was at Stan's adopted mom's house. For some reason, she had a toilet that was inside a clawfoot tub. There was a towel in the tub, but when I flushed the toilet, it somehow managed to flush down the toilet. I was worried I screwed up their plumbing. This is at least the second time I dreamt about flushing cloth down a toilet. That dream woke me up, and when I went back to sleep I continued to have a dream with Stan's mom in it. I can't remember much of it though...driving around...vague. I do remember something about a young woman...college age or just out of college, who adopted two cats, but didn't have any place to keep them because her landlord didn't allow cats. She was trying to keep them hidden in the basement. But then it turned strange, and it was as if the girl herself was hiding in the basement, like she was some war refugee...an Anne Frank or something.
