12:20:2003 Entry: "Stan : Paul McCartney"

Paul McCartney

Wow! Just when I thought the day couldn't get any better; I learn that Paul really, really - supports President Bush. It is really, really - good to see him coming out of his Fashist Styled Republican closet. I can't believe this guy was ever in the same band with John Lennon. I am glad to see Paul showing his true colors. I've never liked Paul, but I'm happy that he's coming clean on his views.

This is just way too funny.

Isn't it interesting how among you, me and Tim (who isn't even a music person), that our favorite Beatle was John an our least favorite Paul.

What is ironic is that Paul is a pretty hardcore vegetarian. Sort of hard to see a veg supporting Bush.

You know, there's something in the back of my memory, and I can't quite place it at the moment, but it was way back when the Beatles were till together, and Paul even showed early signs of Republicanism/pre-Thatcherism. Can't remember what it was, though. Aaaagh. Damn memory.

Whatever it was, it was a point of contention between him and Lennon, I'm sure.
