12:20:2003 Entry: "Ann : Assorted DREAMs"

Assorted DREAMs

I was in Fort Collins, either driving or walking around the old parts of town. There was an area where there were tiny homes that seemed to be gutted of their interiors. I was standing in front of one of the houses and looking inside it. There was an dead old, gnarly tree stump with vining branches...it looked like something off the set for The Wizard of Oz. I think I told whoever was with me to take a look at it. It was quite scary. Then I had something to drink (alcoholic) and got into my car shortly afterward, but I had forgotten I had been drinking. I was driving really poorly, practically hitting signs in ditches. I saw a van that had police lights on it. It made a U-turn in the street and I thought it was going to pull me over. But all it did was park in the ditch behind me and take a look at one of the street signs that I actually did not damage. I was relieved, but scared. I also remember walking around at night in the area of Oak, Canyon, Mountain streets. It was dark and cold, and I had lost my way and forgotten where the car was parked.

I was watching something on TV like some old Beatles movie like Help, but it wasn't that. I have no idea what it was except The Beatles were in some zany situation where one of them had to slide down the side of a hill. I specifically remember John Lennon the most.

I had some mannequin's head and I was painting it in an expressionist style. I was using some poor color choices too...olive green for the skin tone, but it turned out looking rather interesting. It started to fall apart, however, when I put red on the eyelids.
