Voter IQ
Chart that shows IQ by state and who they voted for. I'm a bit bummed that Wisconsin is the third stupidest Kerry state...so to speak. I thought we had a good education system here. Must be all the cheddar clogging up the heads. But still..interesting stuff. I notice Minnesota is above average. (Garrison Keilor reference) Overall, doesn't the U.S.'s average IQ seem a bit low?

I really don`t understand this use of IQ-tests for all or nothing. They don`t tell me anything. Potential it would have been interesting how all these IQ-tests are made. Which people are making these tests? What do they think is important? Who, what and why do they ask, what preferences have they got? Do they for example emphasize music, singing, workmen or caring? On all these standard IQ-tests for example most of Africa have an IQ on 75 or lower. That I think is really so little serious.

It is always a question of what ever does an IQ test show anyway, but what's interesting about the test results and voting begs a range of other questions. These questions are over the differances between what US society defines as general intelegance and what our society desires for leadership. This voting and IQ chart shows that our definitions of intelegance and our desire for leadership fail to match. Clearly we are a society living in conflict with in it's own definitions and desires.
