..::Previous entry: "Corpse"::.. ..::Main Index::.. ..::Next entry: "New Corpse"::.. 08:14:2005 Entry: "Ann : This is seriously making me sick."This is seriously making me sick. The man shot to death Friday in London is not associated with the terror bombings. I did not have a good feeling about this when I first heard of it. I understand the whole "if you don't shoot to kill, he might detonate the device." But can't you shoot to disable? People are saying "but who wears a heavy winter coat in the middle of summer unless they are hiding something?" I'll tell you who: mentally disabled people. Maybe I'm just more perceptive than most, or maybe Madison has more mentally challenged people than most cities (supposedly, we have a lot of mental health care facilities here per capita). But I see it all the time. Drive downtown near State Street, hell, drive anywhere in the city. You'll see a whole slew of people inappropriately dressed, weatherwise. Coats in the summer, sleeveless dresses in the winter. Sometimes even the college students, who supposedly aren't mentally disabled, are even partaking in this odd style. So the London police shot an innocent man who was probably just out of it and wasn't perceptive as far as how his body felt. That's just swell. I hope other people are as outraged at this as I am, but judging from the reaction on the news this morning, I have my doubts.
4 Comments Maybe Security - types - who support shooting everyone who is inappropriately dressed (weather wise) never give birth to, or ever have in their circle of realitives, any children who are mentaly challanged. I don't understand why these 'Homeland Security' types think more and more force is always the right answer to every problem - are they just a bunch of sick bullies? Here is an idea for the Security Knot Heads - why don't they line up and shoot everyone who doesn't shair their views, then no one will wear a heavy coat in the summer. I bet it their security fancy minds they are already making plans to shoot the whole world. I think if they want the world that much only for them selves they can have it, because it's really not worth it to watch them shoot more and more inappropriately dressed persons one day at a time. I'm sick that this has happened and it's becoming the kind of world where anyone who is different is thought of as some kind of threat. I worrry about everyone with mental illness, because people in general seem to have an - out to get anyone who doesn't fit in - attitude lately. This has to stop, and these 'Home Land Security' (all the way and %@*^%# the world) people are only bullies who would even rather see their own chlidren die in worthless forign wars than admit that THEY ARE WRONG. Posted by Stan @ 07:23:2005:03:02 PM CST It's just like the &*#$heads that stopped us on the border while Craigboy was coming through with loads of Tijuana Bud, unbeknownst to the halfwit border cops. Put those types in charge of sorting people out, and they always have to go through their own little fascist play. Posted by Ann @ 07:23:2005:03:16 PM CST Personally, I expected more of the U.K., but I guess it's true...Tony really is George's lapdog. Posted by Ann @ 07:23:2005:03:17 PM CST These Security Fancy &^%$#Heads are a world wide problem and the only other problem that even comes close to them (as a problem) is the problem of terrorism. Ironicly they claim that when terroism stops they will too, but in truth they are a far older an deeper problem of the human race, because they are a threat to be feared both in times of war and peace. They never go away they just constantly look for reasons to kill people who are wearing coats in the summer. Then they have the nerve to expect the rest of us to look up to them as heroes - when all they are just people who hate anyone who isn't like them. I miss the 70s in that it was acceptable for people to be different whether they were mentaly challanged or not. Now it seems that there is a lot of pressure on everyone to 'fit in' and this is only leading to more hatered unneeded suspicion really bad police work. I hope someday the first and fourth ammendments come back in style. Posted by Stan @ 07:23:2005:03:36 PM CST By Ann @ 19:13 AM CST:08:14:05 ..::Link::.. |
