..::Previous entry: "DREAM: Bus"::.. ..::Main Index::.. ..::Next entry: "New Corpse"::.. 01:06:2006 Entry: "Ann : DREAMs of the Walking Dead"DREAMs of the Walking DeadI've been way too busy/sleep-deprived to write lately but I'll try to recount a few dreams from the past several nights. Since I'm waaay too sleep deprived to do anything worthwhile, I'll take this time that would best spent on productive work to do this. Night before the night before last: (Tues-Wed): I was looking at one of those Sunday newspaper special feature sections and they were doing an article on the new courthouse. They had a featured article about a woman and showed her picture (50s, short curly hair, Caucasian, wearing red) who was a judge. I asked Stan if he knew her and he said she was a bitch. Night before last: (Wed-Thur): I was walking with some people in a wooded area that was similar to the Milwaukee Zoo, but it was also sort of like the Farmer's Market because people and their handmade products were on display, not animals. There was a modern concrete building on a hill, and on it was a sign that said "Kimchee". There were some Korean people vending kimchee on a table in front of it. (So I took a walk yesterday over to Jenny Street to buy myself some kimchee IRL...I figured the dream was telling me something. Yum...kimchee.) One of the people selling it was the Korean female character on Lost. Also, I was watching TV and they had a special on The Partridge Family (I never even watched that silly show when I was a kid...only saw a few episodes in reruns in the 90s...very silly show). The people were all grown up but still living with their mother, but they still looked like kids, except for the oldest boy (forgot his name...obviously I wasn't smitten like the other 9-year-olds my age in 1970)...he had dreadlocks. Heh. Last night (Thurs-Fri): I was at someone's house (female) that had a lot of rooms with modern architecture. She had a brother, and her brother was in his back bedroom with a girlfriend. I walk back there because there's a large picture window/sliding glass door that I want to see out of. I realize that they had been in bed together, so I try to make myself discrete. I feel a bit embarrassed. Later, I am driving around Schenk's Corners and I see MSNBSC's Tucker Carlson in a small, old Japanese beater car. He's having trouble starting it and it seems to be stalled. I find this odd because wouldn't he be driving an SUV or something? Doesn't the network pay him enough? Later, I see him again, still struggling with the broken down car somewhere in the vicinity of Wonder's Pub. I think it was snowing in both dream segments.
7 Comments Just thought of the name. David Cassidy? With dreadlocks. And the dream part with Tucker Carlson was really funny. He was quite frustrated. And the part with the woman in the house with her brother in bed with a girlfriend...the woman (that I was with, not the girlfriend) was naked and her body looked like the cartoon by Gerald Scarfe for The Wall with the girlfriend morphing into the scorpion/preying mantis...except more human, not as crustacean or cartooned. Posted by Ann @ 01:06:2006:11:17 AM CST So was it a "Farmer's Zoo"? Did you notice 2 of the dreams had modern buildings/architecture? David Cassidy with dreadlocks, that's awesome. I've never seen the show, but have seen shows about the show, so I know what he looked like. Would you inform this poor ignorant woman as to what kimchee is too, please? Talk to ya later, I am going to Casper! Posted by Dawn @ 01:06:2006:05:50 PM CST Yeah, maybe it was a Farmer's Zoo! Kimchee (Korean dish) is cabbage fermented with other stuff like onions, radishes, carrots and hot peppers. I've never been to Casper. Since I am running on very little sleep, I read "I'm going to Casper" meant you're going to be a ghost (a friendly one). I really need sleep. Posted by Ann @ 01:06:2006:06:04 PM CST I'm glad you had the food dream because the kimchee is really good. Sorry about my cold and very noisy nose which is keeping you from getting enough sleep. This has been one of the most difficult nose exeriences for me too. Posted by Stan @ 01:06:2006:07:02 PM CST ghost- thats funny... casper is jinxed, i swear. when chatnz got in his accident, it was in gillette on the way to casper. he went to get a new bed for his truck last week and they had the wrong one. and yesterday one of the companies they sent us to no one knew where the damn place was. they had the wrong name. we were there for 6 1/2 hrs- 3 spent looking for the place! sorry, but kimchee sounds kinda gross, but I think everything but starchy or proteiny foods are gross right now. Posted by Dawn @ 01:08:2006:11:44 AM CST Yeah, if you're pregnant, the smell of it out of the jar might make you a little sick! On the other hand, if the old cliche that being pregnant makes you crave pickles, it might really hit the spot. Posted by Ann @ 01:08:2006:12:42 PM CST Nope, pickles just don't do it for me. Sounds spicy, too. Spicy is ok. Posted by Dawn @ 01:09:2006:11:07 PM CST By Ann @ 11:10 AM CST:01:06:06 ..::Link::.. |
