'My 17 Years as an Unauthorized Jew' (Introduction, section b: The Dull)
To begin a story most writers try to start with something interesting for their readers. I imagine this is a way writers attempt to intrigue their readers and cause them to desire to know the whole of a story. Instead of starting with something really interesting which might cause my readers to want to read the whole story - I'll start with the most boring thing I can find from my 17 years, or 3rd life. The best place for any story to begin is with something good, so even though I'm beginning with the most boring part I'll at least be starting with something good. I'll begin with what I think would be Plato's "The Good" and what I think this dialogue might say if it is ever found again.

So you are going to introduce us by not saying anything at all? Is this an intro to an intro? Am I lost in the world of Stan and Ann? Will I ever find my way back? Could I possibly ask any more questions? Possibly.

This is a move, on my part, sort of like answering objections before they are raised... I have been falsely accused of being a "Nazi" and this is a way to hopefuly cut off a return of these accusation by telling of my experiences. I realize this doesn't make much since to most people, and I appologize for having to go through this process. I only want a clean break from the past accusations and be able to tell my own story without having these accusations crop up again. The Nazis had a specific view of Plato's late works, my accusors have specific views of Plato's late works and I can set myself appart from both parties by stating my views as clearly as I can here in the beginning of my writing.
