DREAMs: Annoying Father and Others
I can only remember portions of my dreams last night: IRL I was having problems with my digital camera which seem to be resolved now, however the LCD viewer still seems to have colors askew. In the dream, I was on the phone with technical support either for the camera, or for a computer. They were somehow able to show me images/icons via a monitor, and ask me on the phone whether the image I was viewing was an application I was currently having problems with. An image of an icon would flash by, and I would tell them either "no" or "yes" over the phone. Everything seemed to be a "no." As this went on, I was having increased difficulty hearing them, as there seemed to be a lot of noise or static in my surrounds. I look behind me, and my dad is rustling newspapers, going through stacks and stacks of old newspapers. Damn, how I hate newspapers. It was so bloody annoying. I think I told him to stop it, that I'm on the phone. Of course he was indignant. Of course it's OK for him to make noise if people are on the phone, but if he's on the phone, the entire house has to be audibly hermetically sealed.
I was in an old house, possibly the flat Stan and I rented when we moved to Madison. There was a strange door/window in an upstairs room. The frame was quite warped. The weird thing is that the window didn't face the outside of the house, it went into a small area, less deep than a closet even, that had another window that faced the outside. The room was white and green, that ugly pale green color that is in a lot of old houses. Peeling paint. Spiderwebs. Creepy. Odd. I was in a bathroom stall in a public restroom. I don't know why I was there. The door didn't close fully. I had to lift the door up so that the rod on the latch would be aligned with the hole. That's all I can recall.

I know how your dad is about him being able to make noise, but no one else can breath. The window sounds like something out of a building which had a larger building built next to it - blocking a window view. The bathroom stall dream sounds like real life.
