The Dinosaur's Revenge

I was just contemplating today on how oil seems to be our undoing, whether by the pollution it creates, suffocating our earth, or by the wars that stem from the control of it. Oil is the gift of the dinosaurs, the beings that seemed destined to be the major species on earth, if they hadn't have gone extinct. Because we are using their burned fossilized corpses to choke ourselves out of existence, and because we are fighting over the same fossilized corpses so we can choke ourselves out of existence faster, it is as if they are trying to take us down with them. It's like their curse on us.

The stupidity of it all.

The stupidity of demonizing marijuana because it comes from hemp because hemp would make a good renewable fuel but we can't have that because that would take it out of the hands of the big oil companies and put it in the hands of farmers...no, can't have that.

BTW, seen any good corpses on TV lately?

DREAM - sick dog and sick blackemailer

OK, first some background info on the very short first part of the dream: Last night I was playing with Lucifer Sam, throwing those fluorescent pom poms at his face and then he'd fetch them. Well, the orange one, which was about two inches in diameter, was getting all dirty with floor and slobbery with drool, so Stan got out some "fresh" pink pom poms, but these were quite a bit smaller, like only 1 inch in diameter. I told him that we really should get a new bag of larger ones. Now in the past, the late Hieronymus would chew on these 1" poms (making the most disgusting teeth-squeaking noise in the process), and Lucifer Sam, being a Pug, started doing the same thing. With a difference. Lucifer Sam swallowed two of them. Now this had/has me sort of freaked out, hoping they will pass safely through his digestive tract (he swallowed a bowl of cherry pits last week, BTW). So here goes the dream:

Lucifer Sam looked like he had an upset stomach.

Yes, that is all I can remembr of the first part of the dream. Told you it was short.

On to the next part of the dream:

I received a most disturbing email, which was in html format. it contained nude photographs of Stan and I at a party back in the 80s (we were never nude at a party, but we did take some nude pictures of ourselves as source material for paintings back in the day when I painted figures. It was all artistic and not pornographic in the slightest). There was also some really derogatory stuff written about us, making fun of us and how we liked Pink Floyd. I realized that the person who sent out this email probably sent out this email to as many people as they had email addresses.

OK, Stan, guess who sent out the email.

Guess?

Here are a couple of Pink Floyd songs you will probably get right away.

Disowned that the two separate glances pass in the sense for the case comes to the contact of and is you and that what what I see he is me. I take them from the hand and condurli through the earth and hepl me I understand the better thing that it can? The better thing I can.

They must invite them hello of the respect? They can polish their
medals and sharpen their smiles and are you are you amuse yourself that the games play for a moment.

Both are from Italian Babelizer.

and again

Roxy Music. Korean. First Translation. Name the Song.

Is this from the Third Roxy?

Pink Floyd. Korean. First Translation. Name the Song.

Is this from The Final Cut?

I'm much more clueless that I can say on these two.

I'm having a

"God, people are stupid!" Day.

Try again

Roxy Music. Korean. First Translation. Name the Song.

Is this from the Second Roxy?

Pink Floyd. Korean. First Translation. Name the Song.

Is this from The Wall?

These seem way out there, but I'll probably feel stupid when I find out what they are.

Stan, I've re-enabled the comments

This way, we can comment on eachother's posts instead of entering a new entry each time. But only on the main page (hopefully, if it works the way I'm hoping it will). This way, I won't have google-people leaving annoying comments about certain B-grade movie actors with a penchant for firearms months after I made the first post.

Blank Frank

That's the only one you guessed correctly. Try again.

DREAM - Weird triangle thing

I think the first part of this dream was creepage from what was on the radio this morning. I was sitting on a train (!?!) and there was a man sitting across from me and he was discussing religion and defending the morality of atheism. (end talk radio creep) Then I was in a large public restroom with many stalls and sinks; everything was a dull grey green color I needed to brush my teeth. Then for some reason, I was downtown in Madison and needed to take a large construction item home with me. It was triangular, made out of metal. Like three rulers or levels attached together in a triangular shape, several feet long. The only way to carry it was to put it around my body and carry it like a purse with a shoulder strap. It was very heavy. I was walking up the hills in the capital area and found myself at an intersection with East Washington...I don't know the cross street I was on...Blair? Blount? Hancock? One of those. I crossed the street right as the light turned yellow and had to wait in the median to get to the other side. I was wearing a long cotton skirt (odd for me) but had to sit down because the triangle thing was too heavy. I thought I should take a bus home. I finally got across to the other side, but that's all I remember because I woke up and IRL my right hand and finger were really sore.

It's late...

...agent Stanley.

Posted by Ann on 07/21/03@10:12 PM CST ..::Link::..

Oh

I see...you just stated in Babelese that you hoped you guessed right. I wasn't supposed to guess what you said...it was just rhetorical.

Anyway, Brain Damage is correct.

I need to go to bed now, or else my brain will be damaged, not to mention my contacts.

It's late.

Posted by Ann on 07/21/03@10:11 PM CST ..::Link::..

Well, if it's not from a song...

...then I have no idea what you said. How could I? You're making me guess at something infinite. With a song, there are finite possibilities.

Posted by Ann on 07/21/03@10:09 PM CST ..::Link::..

Sorry!

You might think everythin is about music? None of the lines I gave you were from songs, so your gurss is right. Not guessing anything is the correct answer. Sorry I gave you the impression these lines were guesses, because I was only saying; I hoped I got them right.

Sorry that my guess at this one was wrong, and I'll try again.

'Pink Floyd:
I to be extensive in the darkside of month and see
Eclipse, from Dark Side of the Moon'

Now my guess is Brain Damage!

This is my prefered language of Babelizone.

Ho voglio leggere del Siciliano, ma Italiano e molto bene!

Translated - I wish to write some Sicilian, but Italian is very good.

Ho bisogno di un poco tempo lavorare a quei seguenti.

Translated -

I need a little time to work on the next ones.

I knew word except 'seguenti'.

And a couple more...

Roxy Music. Korean. First Translation. Name the Song.

For you to discover, it is hard very when it searches a love inside
the separation my world

Pink Floyd. Korean. First Translation. Name the Song.

And it goes out and in you dark side, me when a will it is visible and
your percentage theyn place what goes out and in you in ten you me it
omits my heart and side it is visible and it spreads out but tonight,
and the kacikoiss it increases

----

OK, what the hell is a kacikoiss? It keeps coming up in these silly babelizations.

Posted by Ann on 07/21/03@09:02 AM CST ..::Link::..

Chew on this one:

Brian Eno. Korean. Fifth Translation. Name the Song.

It freedom lop inside it of your fate and your destruction of the
blank of the side transportation carries the shoulder and they are
bitter and it is a mail

Posted by Ann on 07/21/03@08:41 AM CST ..::Link::..

Dude...

You've got to give me something to go on here. These lines mean nothing to me unless I have an idea of the artist who did them. Also, what language did you use to do the translation?

If have.got badly some of, therefore you can try more to the same level to which they are.

If they are all the interezza badly then I that I am a moron and you render it the conjecture ahead.

I'm guessing they're both Pink Floyd, and I'll just take a wild stab at it. The first one is Bike (I've got a bike, you can ride it if you like...). The second, maybe Brain Damage (the lunatics are in my head...)?

Help me out here!

OK, as for YOUR guesses, you got David and Lou right, but as for Floyd, you got the right album, but you are WRONG on the song!!!!! Unbelievable!

Now, should I give you songs to guess at in the meantime?

Music

Here are my guesses at the music, and if I'm at 100% you might want to try more mutated forms next time.

If have.got badly some of, therefore you can try more to the same level to which they are.

If they are all the interezza badly then I that I am a moron and you render it the conjecture ahead.

Pink Floyd:
I to be extensive in the darkside of month and see

Eclipse, from Dark Side of the Moon

Lou Reed:
e The baby, was wild, side it has walking and it goes

Walk on the Wild Side, from Transformer

David Bowie:
When you connect the boy or the girl, inside rotation causing to which
she is not positively it got your mother

Rebel Rebel, from Diamond Dogs

DREAM: Tangerine and hurt dog leg

I found an ibook in some store that looked like mine (tangerine) except it was smaller in circumference but thicker, almost roundish. It was only $62, and it had 622 megs of RAM (on an original mode ibook?!!!). I asked a salesperson why it was so cheap, an they told me it had rusted. I started it up and it seemed to work. I was thinking of buying it, even though it was "rusty."

We were sitting on a bench on a sidewalk somewhere, in fact, maybe the sidewalk was in our own back yard. You know how they plant trees in sidewalks in cities, and then they put some grating around the tree with rocks in it? There was one of those trees with grating on the sidewalk, and Plato tripped in the grating because it was broken, and Stan said Plato hurt his leg. I didn't notice Plato walking funny, so I assumed nothing was broken, but I told Stan that he had to fix the grating.
