These are old archived entries from my journal, Ornamental Illness. I have eliminated all graphics (except those in context of an entry) to save on my bandwidth usage.

Please visit my other sites below. I promise they're more visually interesting.

Boomerang 'Batcave

The Dingbatcave's hosting service is raising its rates so that it's now comparable to what I'm paying to host my other sites, except that my other sites get more space and bandwidth allotment. I don't even need much for the 'cave, so I have a choice...stay put and feel cheated, move my domain over to my other host and get more stuff (which I don't even need), or get a subdomain with an existing account (like what I'm doing with ornamentalillness.com). I think I'll opt for the latter because I have very little cash flow and saving even $7/month helps. This means Stan will lose his personal email account though The Dingbatcave, (it will just all get sent to me now...mwahahaha) but he doesn't pay for it anyway. I don't know, even though I won't be losing the domain or anything (and nothing will be any different from a user's standpoint), it's still sort of like moving back into Mom's house after you've been living on your own, you know?

Wouldn't you save money if you for example let dingbatcave be a part of Ann-S-Thesia? Cause it's related stuff and that way you could also save the money for the domain. Or you could keep the domain and host it with a free server if you don't use too much bandwidth. Am I silly now? ;o) And have you seen my amazing flash yet?? ;o)

I couldn't give up the domain...that would be suicide. Anyway, a domain is only $9.00 or so/year...it's the hosting that adds up. So I'll just make it part of a multi-hosted domain (you can have 3 per paid account free at aletiahosting.com...all you pay for is the domain registration)...no one will ever know the difference, except me.

BTW, very cool opening page!

Don't feel too bad Ann, I still don't have a domain! I'm hosted through my ISP! (Besides that, I visit Mom's house on a regular basis!) I'm freakin' pitiful!
