If you can't depend on Google, who can you depend on?
Got this when submitted this site to Google today: "Your URL (http://ornamentalillness.com) has been successfully added to our list of URLs to crawl. Please note that we do not add all submitted URLs to our index, and we cannot make any predictions or guarantees about when or if they will appear."
Whoah...is Google perchance going the way of Yahoo? I thought Google crawled the entire web. That's what made it so thorough, so comprehensive.
What's weird is that although I submitted my site to search engines as soon as I got it up in running in mid-December, I'm finding *other people's blogs that link to me* when I do a search for "Ornamental Illness," but I don't find my own. What's up with that?
So far this site appears to be completely, entirely invisible to search engines. How odd. Paranoid thoughts of utter rejection.
Oh, and I added a little pop-up flash kaleidoscope thingy in the new "Fun Box" on the right. -->
I'll add more stuff later. Not that anyone cares.
I'm having an Eeyore day.

If Google is going the way of Yahoo, I feel sorry for them! Most everyone loves them because of all the choices you get! If they take them away, no one will use them except lame first time searchers!
For the record, I care what you have to say! I admire you as an artist, and I really enjoy your blogs!! :o) (Not to mention your awesome web design!!!)

Frost, wow, that is a WEIRD timely coincidence. It wasn't there a few hours ago, honest! It's also odd how it only links my main page whereas when Google scanned my eyeblog site, it linked EVERYTHING, archives and all.

being "crawled" by google these days is sort of a mixed blessing-especially now that they also catalog your images. that gave me pause for thought. =:-O
