04:21:2002 Entry: "DREAM?"
DREAM?
I wonder how much of a dream can be called your own original unconscious creation, and how much of it needs to be credited to the sounds in your room at the time. I was listening to "As It Happens" this morning and they had a topic on Haggis. Yes, Haggis. In fact, it was about Haggis as an aphrodesiac. This is what the promo on their site says:
"Misty hills, lonely castles and sheep stomachs...all the elements of scottish romance. The Highlands Tourist Board promotes an aphrodisiac Haggis to lure love-bird visitors to their glens."
They announced the topic at the beginning of the show, and inevitably, I fell asleep during the segment and didn't awake until I heard the bagpipe music afterward. Heh. But I think my mind was hearing it and I started dreaming about Haggis. Now I've never seen Haggis, let alone tasted it, but in my dream I was looking at this weird ground beef sausage looking stuff. But that's all I remember dreaming about.

haggis sounds a lot worse than it actually is...although i don't think you could go as far as say it's an aphrodesiac. dreams are funny that way.

Oh, but the aphrodesiac part was real...that wasn't a dream. Go to the As it Happens link...(the Haggis topic will probably only be there on 1/28/02, but you can probably download the show in real audio)
The dream part was just my dreaming of this ground beef stuff.
