Spaceship Pendant
In regard to my dream of March 1, here is the subject matter, recreated in Photoshop from (faulty?) memory:

I think the green gemstone used is tourmaline.
Heck, it was a dream...the gemstone could be Veridianite from the planet Xantar for all I know.

Damn Ann, your graphics are always so beautiful! You could make a cool interface out of this one! ;o)

Hey, I have such a gemstone, green tourmaline. A black one too. and if I'm allowed to brag, I have like 150 gemstones and other stones ;o) You really know how to make graphics. You are very into eyes, isn't an eye a symbol for God or something holy, I'm just asking, wow, remind me I must check if I've got an answer on the Lava soap question ;o)

Thanks, Nico! One of the first rings that I bought for Stan I found at a gem/lapidary/rock shop in Boulder, CO. It is a round cabachon of green tourmaline set in sterling silver. It is one of the most beautiful stones I've ever seen because it's appears to be different colors of green when viewed from different angles. I wanted to get it for myself, but the ring size was too big for me. Fortunately, I have a significant other with big fingers! I am so into gemstones. I prefer semiprecious...I actually think they're prettier. I own no diamonds...they're too sterile (not to mention expensive and overpriced, IMHO). I prefer inclusions and flaws...that's what makes them unique. To me, a simple piece of quartz is infinitely more beautiful than a diamond. Am I low-maintenance or what? :-D

I have a diamond and I agree with you, it's the stone I like the less. I guess my favorite among the chrystals is amethyst, have a lot of them. Of all my stones I like labradorit the most, it has a lot of different colors which changes with the light. It's really hard to pick one stone though, there are so many pretty ones. What I like the less of my stones is the diamond, the ruby and the emerald ;o)

I LOVE Labradorite! (Also known as Spectrolite?) And it comes in so many shades...There's the black kind and then there's some that's practically clear. Yum.
