Bad Friday
My email is down. All my accounts except my ISP. If you need to email me, try ssstudio@globaldialog.com
One of our newts died yesterday. It had bloat. I hope the other fat one doesn't get that. You try and give them enough food so that the skinny ones eat, and the fat ones, the ones that don't need it, hog all the food. Fat ones get fatter, skinny ones get skinnier. I think our newt aquarium is a good example of a modern capitalist society.

Thanks Maria. It's sad. We lost one last year because it didn't eat enough. We got them for free in the fall of 2000 from a pet store...I guess they couldn't sell them so they were giving them away. People request newts at the store, they order them, and then the people who requested them never show up to buy them. We called it our "newt rescue." We started out with ten.
And then there were eight.

Awww, well at least you gave the little guys a better chance than they would have had! 8 survivors is better than none! :o)

I didn't even know you had any fish in the house, except from maybe tunafish for the felines ;o]
I don't like the fishconcept myself. A fish is more a decoration than a pet I think and I don't know about using alive beings as decoration, not even a beautiful woman ;o]
I'm sorry you lost the little fellow though.

Nico, I don't have fish (except for the occasional one in the freezer)...just newts. I don't consider them decoration...they have personality--really!
