More Accurate Avatars

annandstan6 (20k image)I did these in Poser and Photoshop over two years ago for a personal project. They're a little more accurate in terms of character than the Lane Bryant ones, although we still look weird. (Do you know how hard it is to give a guy a ponytail in Poser without making him look like a girl?) I've always found Poser a little hard to manipulate, not to mention limiting. We look like we're about to dance to the Sprockets tune...Stan especially turned out quite Dieter-esque here.

Oh well. Maybe if you hybridize the LB with this one, you'd get the most accurate representation. Of course photographs would be nice too, huh? But that's cheating. ;-D

I like the poser renditions, Ann. I am going to create an LB avatar of me, and I will call it Mimi.

Oh my god, I can't believe it, they have my picture on file at LB? Mimi looks just like me with better skin.

It's really amazing what can be made on a computer, that is if the people who know how to, make it. Look almost like a photo of figures laying on a cement floor or something, quite realistic.

Ann, where is the men's LB avatar creator? After I created MimiJane, my husband wanted to make a mini-him too, but I only found the female avatar maker :-(

I've tried that thing, and would you believe it, I look almost exactly like Stan ;o] They don't have my haircolor over there though, I must either be ultrablond or dark. They don't have my tattoos there either ;o]

Nico, I'd believe it! (but you'd be a lot taller than him, though) You both have that Kurt Cobain thing going. (that's a compliment, you know). Stan doesn't look that much like Kurt now (I'll avoid the obvious morose joke here) but he sort of looks like a hybrid of various rock stars...Kurt, Sting, Eno, Ozzy...kind of weird. His dad reminds me of a fat Allen Ginsberg. His adopted dad looked like George C. Scott.

Yes, I sure take that as a compliment as I always thought Kurt looked great ;o] I have a big poster of him on the wall you know, right in front of me actually =o)
I was kind of thinking about writing Stan about some political issues.
